Your streets are too loud. You can help change that.
Millions of trucks in India carry the words "Blow Horn" on their backs. It’s an outdated message. It encourages drivers to honk.
The result? India's roads are the noisiest on earth. That noise affects your ears, your sleep, your ability to study, and your quality of life.
Horn Free India is asking the government to remove "Blow Horn" from trucks. Instead use messages of peace and safety: Stop Horn, No Horn, or Om Shanti.
You can help in under 3 minutes.
Our plan is simple:

Respected Shri Gadkariji,
I am a student representing the future of India. I am writing to respectfully request that the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways consider replacing the "Blow Horn" and "Horn Please" signage on commercial vehicles with safer alternatives such as Stop Horn, No Horn, or Om Shanti.
Excessive honking is a daily reality on our roads. It affects our health, our ability to study, and the peace of our neighbourhoods. We are the land of “Om Shanti”. Let us not be the land of “Blow Horn”. We prefer Om Shanti to Blow Horn.
In 2015, Maharashtra banned "Horn OK Please" with a single administrative circular. I hope the rest of India can follow.
Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
[YOUR NAME, CITY & STATE]
